What?! The future is here kids. MIT’s Fluid Interfaces Group have revealed their latest project, Cornucopia, which is “a three dimensional printer for food, which works by storing, precisely mixing, depositing and cooking layers of ingredients.”

“So like, if you feel like an apple, you just put an apple cartridge in, run the apple program, and wait while printer extrudes an apple shape. Heating and cooling elements in the print heads do all of the cooking for you.”

Bonkers! I’m personally waiting for a TV that cooks the food that is being made while watching Food Network or Top Chef. That, in tandem with Smell-O-Vision, and I’m all set!
